  9. In the spirit of giving as well as receiving, this upload is
  10. offered in return for several downloads I have obtained from the
  11. WMUG bulletin board.  It should be technically accurate as far as
  12. transposing sheet music via the computer keyboard goes, but I
  13. can't guarantee someone with a better ear than mine won't find a
  14. mistake.  If so, report it and I'll be glad to correct it.

  16. To reduce the "mechnical" feel introduced by entering all notes
  17. with a velocity of 64, I have adjusted some (but not all) of the
  18. note velocities as well as a self-taught sheet music reader can 
  19. -- there is still room for improvement and it is welcomed!

  21. Another shortcoming -- the piece still needs sustained notes
  22. (pedal) added to it.  Other than the above, I hope someone else
  23. enjoys what was a two month part-time-evenings effort.

  26. If you own a Mirage, Opus 53 sounds best transposed up one
  27. octave, using the original Sound Diskette #1 Piano sound. I've
  28. tried other piano samples and I always tend to return to the
  29. original one.
